COVID-19 Safety-Briarbank Guest House
COVID-19 Safety Measures
As we begin to re open after a period of closure we want to reassure our guests that we are taking things seriously with regards to COVID-19 and share the changes that have been implemented to our usual services and facilities whilst there is still a risk from this global pandemic. We would like to reassure you that everything we put in place is done to protect us and our guests.
Check-in - Guests will use the normal entrance to our property however on arrival we will ensure that contact is minimised by adhehering to social distance measures. There will be hand sanitizing products immediately available to use when entering. If you require assistance with your luggage, please leave it in your car and we can safely retrieve this for you once you have accessed your room. If you are feeling unwell and experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19, please do not travel to Briarbank.
Breakfast - We have made changes to our breakfast service/offer to maintain social distancing measures in the limited space we have and due to the communal nature of our usual breakfast. The changes mean we are now offering a room service breakfast with a mix of continental and limited hot food options, which can be pre ordered the evening before. We have done our best to provide a comfortable environment in each room for you to enjoy your breakfast and hope you understand the reason for these changes. Click here to see our revised breakfast menu.
General Hygiene - We take hygiene very seriously at all times, however we would like to highlight to our guests that we already use commercial grade cleaners and sanitisters for cleaning within our rooms and our food preparation areas. Our linen is all laundered professionally by an external company who launder items at a very high temperature. In our rooms you may notice soft furnishings have been minimised from the pictures you may have seen on this site. This is to ensure higher levels of hygiene as these can often be more difficult to clean on a daily basis. We will provide hand sanitiser to use when entering and exiting our property and will supply some additional cleaning materials within your room. Please don't be alarmed if you see us wearing a face mask at any time. During this time we will not be completing our full daily room cleaning service for guests staying more than one night. We will enter your room once only to ensure breakfast items and other sundries are topped up for the next night/morning. This will be conducted whilst the room is vacated and following hygiene guidelines. If you do require anything else this can be arranged remotely via a call, email, text or WhatsApp.We hope that this message gives you reassurance that we are taking things very seriously within our small B&B to welcome you back safely. We would like to advise you that we have been awarded a "Good to Go" certificate and completed the risk assessment based on the guidance from visit Scotland. If you have any further questions please get in touch and we will do our best to answer them.
